Once you are happy with the design, we will arrange a contour and feature survey of your property to be conducted by a licensed surveyor. This gives us a detailed understanding of things like the slopes on the block and exact location of any sewer or stormwater pipes. Our in-house architect will then draw development approval plans and submit these to the local council. Council will assess the plans against their parameters and request any changes that are not compliant. Once these have been resolved, development approval is granted. Of course you are consulted and kept informed throughout this process. If you are applying for finance, this development approval (D.A.) is one of the documents your bank will want to see as part of approving your loan.
You'll meet with your Prestart Consultant in the Integrity offices, and start making choices. We'll help you coordinate your floor and window coverings, the paint selections, door, drawer and cupboard handles, light fittings, and more besides. This is your biggest insight yet into what the finished dwellings will look like.
After Development approval is granted we will complete the required drawings and submit this to council for Building licence approval. We will continue to address any changes or conditions set by the local council, and keep you informed of progress. Congratulations! You are now ready and licensed to build your new development.
